The second week of judge cuts aired last night and once again 18 acts performed with only 7 making it to the next round at the Dolby Theatre. One of those 7 acts was the recipient of the next Golden Buzzer which was given by none other than Dwyane Wade, NBA star and husband to judge Gabrielle Union.
The seven acts that advanced this week were:
Dom is a really good magician. It blows my mind that he was able to pour that drink from his phone and how he was able to program his phone’s Siri to interact as part of his act.
GFORCE came back in full force as the next girl group you need to know! I enjoyed their performance, the song was catchy, almost Kesha-esque, and I hope they can keep the momentum up in the next round.
Robert proved that it doesn’t matter how old you are or how disabled you are, if you have a talent, showcase it! And he belted out an original last night to much fanfare. I applaud his determination as a singer. Job well done – go chase your dreams!
This Indian trio defied odds once again in this dangerous routine. I enjoyed the thrill of their performance with all the smashed ice and fruit! Simply entertaining to watch but of course you can’t help but cringe each time that sledgehammer strikes down. KIDS! DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!
Ryan Niemiller did not let his disability ruin his time on stage. Funny stand-up set with lots of self-deprecating humor. All of the judges gave him a standing O! He definitely deserves to move on to the next round.
I love his artistic skills in recreating the US mission to the moon which celebrated it’s 50th anniversary this year. How timely this was! Captivating and fun to watch!
India is really making waves this season as another act from that country has made it to the next round! This talented crew of guys and girls wowed the judges and earned the next Golden Buzzer! Their moves were well orchestrated and rehearsed. I loved every minute of it!
