Earlier this week, Grammy winning pop rock group Coldplay teased a brand new album was on the way next month! The chart toppers emerged from their four year hiatus to announce to the world that their next album titled, Everyday Life will be a double album effort. The first half will be known as Sunrise and the second half will be called Sunset.
In an old-fashioned letter posted on their social accounts, lead singer Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bass guitarist Guy Berryman & drummer Will Champion called this “century” effort in the making to be their next body of work and it will be released on November 22nd.
The new songs were written and produced based on how they felt about things lately. You can count on the band to produce another highly-anticipated ear worm later this fall which follows off their successful A Head Full Of Dreams album and tour which grossed $523 million, making it the fifth highest concert tour in history.
Two singles, “Orphans” and “Arabesque” are available now to listen along with the option to pre-order the album on digital, CD, cassette and vinyl.
Their new setlist will consist of 16 tracks as confirmed in a classified ad in a local Welsh newspaper published on October 23rd.
