“Easy On Me” by Adele
ππΌππΌ ADELE has done it again!! This emotional tender ballad is a sure bet for major awards in the coming years especially at the next Grammys! Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year noms incoming!!
π΅ Blown away by her vocals now as a 33-year-old singer-songwriter! The wind in the music video provided even more dramatic effects!
βοΈ She’s such a talented songwriter — turning heartbreak into another smash hit! Great to listen to on a rainy day or just a day for deep introspection of one’s life.
π MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Adele’s 30 will be releasing on November 19th!!
“Let Somebody Go” by Coldplay x Selena Gomez
π This collaboration between 7x Grammy-winning pop rock band Coldplay and Latin Grammy nominee singer-songwriter/TV star, Selena Gomez is sooooo good!! I can’t believe it took them this long to work with each other. This song talks about losing a lover and wow, just wow! Their soulful vocals really captured that gut wrenching feeling of a beloved passing away.
βοΈ This is just one of a dozen new spectacular songs off their new album, Music Of The Spheres to which I will post more about in another blog real soon! So stay tuned for that!
π₯Ά THAT CHORUS!! CHILLS!!
π₯° The outro felt like a hug reassuring you that despite losing a family member, distant relative or friend, their memories will always be a part of you forever!
β¨ ICYMI: “My Universe” Light Show at NYC’s Empire State Building!! This was to celebrate their new album /announcement of their 2022 world tour!! Expect them to perform their hits like “Clocks,” “Viva La Vida,” “Fix You” & “Sky Full Of Stars” plus their latest songs like “Let Somebody Go,” “Coloratura,” and “Higher Power” all around the globe. Who’s excited?!?
“Love Is Pain” by FINNEAS
π Love FINNEAS’ artistry so far! Happy to see he finally released his debut full-length album today! This soft ballad has a great flow to it. The sadness of heartbreak is excellently and poetically illustrated throughout these verses.
π This is the song you MUST play when you’re feeling sad from a recent heartbreak and you’re riding home in tears inside an Uber or taxi!
π And if you’re not in a vehicle while listening to this song, let this song take you on an aural journey from the comforts of your own room right now! Lots to contemplate about in a relationship that isn’t quite fulfilled.
“Jingle Bell Rock” by Kelly Clarkson
π The holidays are rapidly approaching once again and pop superstar, Kelly Clarkson is back with another slate of songs for you all to indulge this Christmas season. I expect her to promote this on The Voice, Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade & Christmas in Rockefeller Center later this year! I know we haven’t gotten through Halloween, but these songs will put a bright smile on your face on this mid October day!
π Lots of cool collaborations are on her new album, When Christmas Comes Around… including new Voice coach, Ariana Grande in “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me” and “Under The Mistletoe” with perennial holiday crooner/ fellow fan favorite artist, Brett Eldredge!
“We’re Not In Kansas Anymore” by Anson Seabra
βοΈ Gone are the days of simplicity! This song by Anson Seabra felt like a deep dive into the struggles of adulting and adulthood. If you’re seeing yourself always on the go in life, or simply on a household move to a whole new state, town, city, what have you, then you’ll relate to this song a lot!
π After said move or change of scenery for you, you’re left feeling down about your old place (e.g. childhood home) because it had a deep emotional connection in your life. You struggle with moving on from that chapter in your life.
π Love the passport themed lyrics video seen above! So creative!!! Imagine we can all take a photo pose like Seabra did for this “passport.”
