“This Love (Taylor’s Version)” by Taylor Swift
0:01 2️ – This marks the second re-released track from Taylor Swift’s 1989 album. It follows “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)” released last year for the Spirit Untamed movie trailer. “This Love TV” was used in the trailer for the upcoming Amazon Prime series, The Summer I Turned Pretty.
0:13 👏 This new version already sounds crisper than the original with a more indie feel to it.
0:20 ⛱️ I like the scenery chosen for the lyric video. Makes me want to sit near the docks by the beach to contemplate life, meditate, or to even just watch the waves crash along the shoreline.
0:45 🤩 Swift’s vocals have matured more since the original recording back in 2014. I love her soothing vocal delivery!
2:13 ☺️ I love how the screen briefly flashes/brightens at this 2nd chorus moment.
2:45 🙌🏽 This part is very “raise your hands to the sky” worthy!
3:35 💖 If you have rekindled a romance recently after previously breaking up, then this song will definitely resonate the most with you. Feel free to share it with your lover right now!
4:07 ✅ Yay! Another song off the checklist of songs that Miss Swift has to re-record! So amazing to see the photographic copyright sign attached to her name! Can’t wait to hear more as we get closer to 1989 TV being released!
