Happy Friday, December 2nd, 2022! The Grammy-nominated pop singer-songwriter, Lewis Capaldi returns with a new single, “Pointless.” It’s his follow-up to the passionate “Forget Me” released earlier this fall. Here below are some of my first reactions plus other fun facts!

0:38 💒 – This is definitely a song you want to add to your dedication playlists, for example at your wedding reception or your renewal of vows ceremony.
1:00 😍 – Your better half makes life have meaning! If you feel that way, it’s definitely true that everything is pointless if you can’t be with your special someone.
1:15 🗣️🎤 – Capaldi wears his heart on his sleeve through his vocals for the chorus!
1:23 🌃☀️ – When times are dark figuratively and in actuality, you help brighten the situation, mood, and vibes. And your lover’s presence is the cherry on the sundae already!

1:54 😂 – You appreciate your lover’s spontaneous giggles.

2:35 👏👏 – This song has a lot of Ed Sheeran influences in it and lo and behold, if you check the credits for the song, the “Celestial” hit maker is a co-writer of this track!
3:10 ✨ – Wow wow wow, that bridge! Soooo goooood! It’s the ribbon to the present that is this song! Amazing!
3:25 😁 – The build up here to the final chorus section is very cathartic to listen to! A beautiful song from the beginning to the end!
