“Walls” by Jonas Brothers feat. Jon Bellion

πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ€πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ€πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ€ The Jonas Brothers are back on the music scene with their sixth studio album cleverly called The Album! It contains a dozen new tracks including the previously released songs, “Wings,” and “Waffle House,” the latter of which they promoted on last month’s appearance on SNL.

😎 Their collaboration with 2x Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter/producer, Jon Bellion is what I want to shine the spotlight this week! They sang this too on their Saturday Night Live episode last month. “Walls” contains a wonderful arrangement in my opinion. It’s refreshing and unique and one that I haven’t heard before. The clashing of styles between the two artists made for a beautiful work of art.

❀β›ͺ I got wholesome loving vibes meet church revival flair! You will definitely feel chills when they get the “As we proceed” part of the song!

πŸ€— The final instrumental moments will reverberate through your heart and soul like a nice hug!

πŸ“Ί Check out their Today Show performances as part of the 2023 Citi Concert Series.

“I Ain’t Worried (Acoustic Version)” by OneRepublic

Lyrics: https://genius.com/Onerepublic-i-aint-worried-acoustic-lyrics

🎀 Watch this cool and cozy performance of OneRepublic’s 2022 multi-Platinum global smash hit, “I Ain’t Worried.” Brian Willett’s whistling will forever be memorable and iconic!

πŸ‘±β€β™‚οΈ I dig the new blonde-haired look on Ryan Tedder. How about you?

πŸ™Œ The chart-topping band has also released a spicy Latin Version with Becky G, as well as a slow and reverb version, a TikTok-ready sped-up version, a Collins strings version, and the audio to their 2022 EMAs performance! Be sure to check those out too! These will definitely tide you over for a while as the group continues their busy tour commitments around the world this year. I do hope and believe we will eventually get a new single later this year! Thoughts?

“A Year Ago” by James Arthur

Lyrics: https://genius.com/James-arthur-a-year-ago-lyrics

πŸ’” “A Year Ago,” is the latest heartfelt single from soulful singer-songwriter, James Arthur’s upcoming and untitled fifth studio album following the equally emotional ballad, “Heartbeat” released last year.

πŸ₯ΆπŸ€§ Prepare to feel chills and or watery-eyed after hearing this song. Those who recently divorced and or broke up from a relationship and regret it a year later will connect to the track the most.

“So Will I” by Phillip Phillips

Lyrics: https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/phillipphillips/sowilli.html

πŸ™ “So Will I” by Idol alum/season 11 winner, Phillip Phillips is a great song for those who feel like their lover needs to take that final step in confiding with you. You preach to this person that you are their #1 soulmate in life so hopefully they will open their eyes and follow suit.

🎷 Instrumentally, that sax complements the emotional grit that Mr. Phillips sings about and conveys in his vocals.

πŸ’Ώ This single will appear on his forthcoming fourth studio album, Drift Back due to be released June 9th. I look forward to hearing his new record soon! How about you?

“Girls” by Rachel Platten

Lyrics: https://genius.com/Rachel-platten-girls-lyrics

πŸ‘§ DYK? It’s been nearly three years since singer-songwriter Rachel Platten’s last single, “Soldiers,” was released! Finally, we get to hear new material from the “Fight Song” songstress in “Girls,” a wholesome piano ballad, which is out now!

πŸ‘ If you’re looking for a new female empowerment anthem to add to your playlists this week, this is the one!

πŸ₯° She encourages girls to remain strong against adversity, and to keep dreaming big! Life is filled with ups and downs and when you’re feeling down, just know that you still have the power to turn the situation back in your favor!

πŸ˜„ It’s expected that this new song will be part of her upcoming third studio album which is still TBA. Comment below with your early predictions as to what she has in store for listeners in the following new era! What do you want to see from her as she continues her musical career?
