Happy NMF! It’s Friday, October 7th, 2022, and we’ve got the latest tunes coming to you from pop star Charlie Puth, pop band Echosmith, rock band All Time Low, indie pop recording artist Dayglow, and last but not least rising singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams. All that and more in this week’s post so scroll on down to read all about them.

“Loser” by Charlie Puth
Pop star Charlie Puth’s new album, CHARLIE finally dropped! In “Loser,” Charlie describes a time when he made a terrible mistake in losing a girlfriend. He really beats himself up on this song. So for all you heartbroken souls out there, this song is for you!
Watch the accompanying music video for some comical sound effects, and hilarious commentary set in a western landscape scene. It looked like a very fun video shoot to be on. Definitely a contrast in mood parallel to the lyrics.
“Gelato” by Echosmith
The Sierotas are back with a brand-new single called “Gelato.” It’s quite refreshing to hear this easy-listening track. It makes you want to hang out with your fam and or friends and live a stress-free life. Forget your troubles and worries and grab a cup of gelato today!
What’s your favorite gelato flavor? This line will spark a lot of conversation. For me, you can’t go wrong with chocolate gelato!
It would be cool to see an actual gelato company partner up with them. I’m looking forward to seeing the official music video soon.
Can’t wait to hear more from Echosmith soon too! How about you?
“Sleepwalking” by All Time Low
Pop-rock group, All Time Low returns with their new single, “Sleepwalking.” Broke up with someone and life just feels numb all the time? Then, this song will help you with your heartbreak recovery period.
Fun Fact: Music video director, Edoardo Ranaboldo directed the music video. He’s known for directing AJR’s viral music videos.
As for this music video, my favorite part is when the scene transitions into night mode and the full band is playing hardcore on the rooftop! What’s your favorite part? Comment below!
“Radio” by Dayglow
There are times where the basics are all you need in life! “Radio” by alternative artist, Dayglow is that feel-good track you need to decompress from the noise and chaos on our planet.
The indie project’s latest album, People In Motion is out now! If you like artists like Alexander23, Phoenix, or Owl City, you will likely enjoy Dayglow’s sound and muse.
I thoroughly enjoyed the arrangement of “Radio.” What about you?

“Difficult” by Gracie Abrams
Capping this week’s picks is rising singer-songwriter, Gracie Abrams’ new single, “Difficult.” This song by the daughter of renowned film director, J.J. Abrams, doesn’t shy away from the insecurities in life. I appreciate her bravery for being so vulnerable.
The single will have you contemplating life’s decisions and perhaps feel a deep emotional connection to it.
If you enjoy Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo’s discography, give Miss Abrams a listen, you won’t regret it! I’m definitely going to be checking out her previous singles out moving forward now. She has a lovely voice and has a bright future ahead of her!
Did You Know? Frequent Taylor Swift collaborator, Aaron Dessner produced and co-wrote the track. No wonder the song is that good!!
