“Merry Christmas” by Ed Sheeran & Elton John
With Thanksgiving done and celebrated, next comes the Christmas/holiday music season! You might want to check this festive collaboration out between pop star Ed Sheeran and the legendary Sir Elton John.
What better way to make your first Christmas song than with 5x Grammy winner Elton John!
Ed and Elton looked like they had a blast on the set of the music video seen above. Very cheerful, imaginative, whimsical, and a true delight to watch unfold. Major props to the set designers. They really brought this song’s music video to life!
This song appears on both the Christmas Edition of = as well as The Lockdown Sessions respectively. Profits from the song will go to the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
“2011” by 5 Seconds of Summer
Feeling contemplative of your past, say 10 years ago to 2011? That’s exactly what Aussie pop band, 5SOS did for this track.
The band shared on Instagram:
“We wrote 2011 to celebrate 10 years of this band, 10 years of adventures through life, and most of all, 10 years of you, our fans.”
I like that they’re looking back on their careers thus far in the music industry. Like everyone else, there are ups and downs along the way. You embrace all the moments that happen whether they’re good or bad. No need to regret the past because you can’t change it! And don’t get upset x, y, and or z didn’t happen. Smile because a, b, and c did happen!
Looking forward to seeing an official music video soon!
“Story of My Life” by ILLENIUM, Sueco feat. Trippie Redd
The newly Grammy-nominated ILLENIUM just dropped his epic new collaboration with punk rock artist Sueco and rapper Trippie Redd.
I love this rock song that centers on heartbreak. If you’ve been in deep pain after a broken relationship, then you need to hear this song. If you love all things rock in general, you need to hear this song!
Sueco sings with such conviction and emotion. His vocal stylings remind me a little of 2x Grammy-nominated rock band, Linkin Park.
The most impactful lyric in the track in my opinion is:
So what’s the point of bΠ΅ing disappointed?
Guess it’s just the story of my life
You can definitely hear the frustration being illustrated throughout the verses.

“Butter (Holiday Remix)” by BTS

“Can’t Do Without Me” by Chayce Beckham & Lindsay Ell
This year’s American Idol winner, Chayce Beckham teams up with rising country artist, Lindsay Ell for a nifty collaboration. The song talks about being preoccupied in your thoughts because you want to get home with your lover so you can spend quality time together romantically.
It also could apply to those couples out there that’s about to get married. Its that eager anticipation of your next step in life’s journey. Another take could be for couples apart for an extended period of time due to career reasons but finally your schedules will align again and you will get the chance to reunite. Cue the growing hearts emoji!! πππ
Their voices meshed seamlessly with one another. I love their respective vocal deliveries on this track. How about you?
Check out the lyric video above to see them in the recording studio vibing out and jamming out!
