Happy NMF on this Friday, April 7, 2023! This week’s spotlight music pick goes to Noah Cyrus and her latest collaboration with alternative artist Vance Joy.

I love this latest single from the rising musician, Noah Cyrus. She’s enlisted the help of “Riptide” singer-songwriter, Vance Joy. This is the first new track that follows the 2022 release of her album, The Hardest Part.
While the song starts off in a glum manner, it gradually picks up into this soaring anthem/duet. I appreciate her choice to wear her emotions on her sleeves. It’s cathartic to hear raw emotive verses like the ones in this song. She’s such a talented singer and songwriter! She proves time and time again that she’s going to have a long and successful career!!!
If you cross the sounds of The Lumineers with country stylizations you get this song in my opinion! Thoughts?
