It’s nifty to hear “This Is Why” with a new arrangement! This is part of the band’s newly released remix album of the same name!
I love the new sounds put onto the track. It’s groovy and fun to hear when you’re out for a run or jog or for your next casual listening sesh at home! You should definitely check the other tracks that got remixed and revamped!
Paramore never fails to disappoint with their creative decisions and the streak continues on! Collaborations on the new record include The Linda Lindas, Wet Leg, & Julien Baker just to name a few. See below for the full tracklist pairings.
“Just Us” by James Arthur
Contemporary artist, James Arthur offers his heartfelt vocals on “Just Us” which is a tender piano ballad that wears its emotions on its sleeves. If you feel conflicted about getting back with someone you’ve hurt, this song will speak to you.
Mistakes you’ve made have caused a rift in your relationship. You don’t know when’s the right time to try to mend hearts. Decisions! Decisions!
But hopefully, when the opportunity does strike for that path to healing, you will find some comfort and peace with your turbulent past.

“Smoke & Ribbons” by Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness
This acoustic treatment to Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness’ “Smoke & Ribbons” is worthy to hear this week. Why? Well, first off who doesn’t love acoustic versions?!? If you’ve heard the original version, here, then you’ll love this one too! Second, you can’t help but feel compelled to hear it and dedicate it to one’s lover. Life is filled with ups and downs and when you’re in a committed relationship, you will experience seemingly everything that’s to offer. Examples: Happy joyful moments together, silly arguments with each other, family gatherings, birthdays, milestones, etc. The list goes on!
This is one of those songs you want to be by your partner’s side at a concert, holding each other’s hands.
“By The Throat – Live at Ancienne Belgique/2013” by CHVRCHES
You got to hear the live version and watch the live performance version of this classic by the talented CHVRCHES!
Time flies when you’re having fun making music and that’s the case for the alt-pop group. Can you believe it’s been ten years since The Bones of What You Believe was released?!?
This song is quite refreshing in sound and very lively despite the sad heartbreaking lyrics. I believe it will be therapeutic for those in complicated relationships. Agreed?
“GODS” by League of Legends feat. NewJeans
K-pop sensation girl group NewJeans teams up with Riot Games for the official 2023 World Championship theme song. Whether you play League of Legends or not, you have to admit this is an epic track to listen to!
It’s a triumphant track where you know the protagonist is going to prevail. In this case, anyone can be a hero if you focus and stay determined! This theme can apply in the real world too. You just have to believe in yourself!
