0:07 Already this is such a catchy song!! Lyrically, Perry sings about a broken relationship post-breakup. Once you dump your ex, you’re still in their mind! They will never truly forget you or get over the breakup for quite some time. 🙌🙌
0:23 The lyrics being shown with a robotic headless dog (a.k.a. Turbo 3000) is kind of surreal to witness. Could this be alluding to a futuristic tech theme in the official music video? Hmmm? 🤔
0:45 If your ex calls you late at night to plead for you to come back again, you know the desperation is kicking in. You also know, your former flame’s mental state will be conflicted because once you’re gone, you will be physically out of his/her/their life. Like you’re playing with the devil at this point if you think you want to hook back up!
Alternatively, if they do eventually hook up with someone else, there’s no one who can touch them, respond to them, and or understand them like the way you did when you both dated.
