Rihanna’s music hiatus has finally ended after six long years! The 9x Grammy-winner released the lead single, “Lift Me Up,” from the upcoming Marvel flick, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘s soundtrack.

It’s a very soothing ballad that many will feel connected to in light of a tragic event, despair, heartbreak, disappointment, or whatever challenging obstacles are thrown your way!
Her vocals are very comforting alongside the beautiful instrumentals. Props to Grammy-winning composer/producer Ludwig Göransson for lending his expertise on this soundtrack single.
Also big kudos to Nigerian artist, Tems who helped co-write the touching song/tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman. Boseman, of course played the lead character, King T’Challa in the acclaimed first Black Panther film.
I predict this track will become a contender in the 2024 Grammys (it missed eligibility for the 2023 ceremony), 2023 Golden Globes, and perhaps the 2023 (or ’24) Oscars.

Now that the Barbadian singer has dropped this fantastic new song, one can only hope for more new music to drop in the near future. #crossyourfingers 🤞🤞
