It’s Friday once again which means a brand new list of picks for you all to check out this weekend has arrived!
This week we have an assortment of tunes ranging from dance pop icon Lady Gaga to rising artist Harry Hudson.

“Stupid Love” by Lady Gaga
The LG6 era has arrived! Grammy-winning artist Lady Gaga is back with another infectious dance pop track that’s destined for clubs, dances & parties all around the world. The accompanying music video seen above was shot on the iPhone 11 Pro and is very heavy on the choreography. Props to her and her background dancers for this high energy tune. Perfect for workouts or for your daily commutes, this song will definitely lift your mood and will boost your motivation for the day!
I predict Ms. Lady Gaga will be receiving multiple Grammy noms in 2021 for this song.

“Fabulous” by Ally Brooke
Ally Brooke is showing her “strong independent, no need for a man” vibes on this track! Perfect female empowerment anthem for all the girls who are confident of who they are and how they look.
Fun fact: There’s a “Lady Marmalade” sample in this song! I was pleasantly surprised to hear that bit. It blends well if I do say so myself.

“hole in the bottle” by Kelsea Ballerini
Continuing with the uplifting vibes this week is Kelsea Ballerini’s latest song. This is the fourth released song from her upcoming third album, kelsea due March 20th.
A fun country pop ditty that’s great for all the booze drinkers out there! This is her first official drinking song and it’s quite unique and a bit quirky as there’s a PSA at the start of the song.

“Where Am I At” by MAX

Pivoting to something melancholic, rising pop artist MAX has released his newest song that will be part of his upcoming third album, Colour Vision which drops May 22nd. In this song, he questions the love he lost. His every day life has been rocked and has become a cloud of doubt. This track is suitable for those who recently broke up with someone and needs this time to mourn and reflect. Hopefully this song can help ease your emotional pains as you move on in life after a tough breakup.
The official music video drops 10am PST today!

“Let Me” by Harry Hudson
The single art contains a quote from Harry Hudson himself and it reads, “This song is about a girl I love, I wanted to name it after her but she wouldn’t LET ME.” It appears this girl he’s infatuated with is either on the rocks with him or is sadly a one-sided relationship. Harry wants her love but she’s either playing hard to get or simply refusing his love.
Emotionally speaking, Hudson is portraying a love that’s not quite there, one that still needs full consent, trust, and eventually commitment.
You can hear his new song here.
